May Day Mementos

Britain isn’t the only place having a coronation ceremony today… it’s May Day in Dynamo country! Congratulations to the court and all those partaking in this long-standing Allegheny Valley School District tradition, believed to date back to the 1920s. This annual celebration is always bound to bring the community together and feature talented performances by the students of our district. Many years ago, I had the privilege of participating in this occasion as a member of the court myself and remember those times fondly. Nothing quite ages yourself like a good black and white photo!
